-- an experiment submitted for the Intermediate School's 5th Annual Science Fair
Summary
No summary is available at this current time because the experiment is still ongoing.
Update:
Is water really the best liquid to use on your plants? I thought so... but I was wrong. It appears that both coffee and tea are an improvement upon basic tap water. Some liquids were so bad (the ones that contained citric acid) that they completely prevented all growth - let this be a warning about the dangers of acid rain! In summary, caffeinated liquids can promote plant growth better than tap water; acidic liquids can actually prevent plant growth and liquids with a high pH (like milk) seem to stunt plant growth.
